Red Pump Ambassador Events

Our ambassadors around the country have been “Rocking the Red” in their area. Here are other official Red Pump events going on this month:

Rock the RED: Youth Skate Jam

Break out your skates and join The Red Pump Project on June 24, 2010 as they present Rock the Red: Youth Skate Jam in observance of National HIV/AIDS Testing Day (June 27). Our youth are being disproportionately affected and infected by HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this skate jam is to bring awareness, in a fun way, to our young people. Kids of all ages are invited to attend this event. Parents are encouraged to get involved and attend as well. Bring your entire family! Information about HIV/AIDS will be available all evening and raffles will take place throughout the night. Proceeds raised will benefit Community Empowerment, an organization that provides services to people living with HIV/AIDS.

On June 26, 2010, The Red Project Collective (The Red Pump Project and The Red Tie Project) will partner with The Polite Project and The FreshXPress to present the one year anniversary of Radiance Public Relations. In the midst of the celebration, attendees are encouraged to “Rock the Red” for HIV/AIDS Awareness in honor of National HIV Testing Day. Free and confidential testing will be provided on site.

The evening of June 26, 2010, The Red Pump Project’s Alabama Ambassadors will be stomping their pumps in solidarity with The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc – Greater Huntsville Area Chapter.
