The 5th Annual Red Pump/Red Tie Affair: An Amazing Evening (Recap)

Men and women from all over the Carolinas (and even as far as Chicago, DC and New York City) came to celebrate Worlds AIDS Day 2013 in style by rocking their red pumps and red ties for Red Pump Charlotte’s 5th Annual Red Pump/Red Tie Affair presented by JSW Media Group the evening of Dec. 7 at the Hart Witzen Gallery with co-hosts media personalities Brie Wright (Charlotte STYLE Magazine, Carolina STYLE Magazine, STYLE Week Charlotte) and Mike Watson (Fashion Professional, Innovator, Visual Artist and Idea Connector). A guest appearance by the co-founders of The Red Pump Project Luvvie Ajayi and Karyn Watkins truly made the evening special as well as special guest Grammy-Award winning singer/songwriter Anthony Hamilton who came to support his wife, the talented Tarsha’ Hamilton, our 2013 Red Pump Award recipient.

Just wanted to know if there are any more events like this planned for December? I know that it is a bit later in the month, but this is something I have been writing about for AIDS Awareness Month. From the pictures, it certainly looks like the Red Pump/Red Tie Affair was a very successful event for World AIDS Day 2013.
