Karyn Luvvie RTR5Luvvie Ajayi

Luvvie Ajayi is an award-winning writer and digital strategist who believes in the power of technology for social change. A ten-year blogging veteran, she is the voice behind Awesomely Luvvie, an entertainment and humor blog that covers everything pop culture – from TV, movies and technology to life’s random adventures.

She’s been honored as JET Magazine’s 40 under 40, was chosen as one of the Black AIDS Institute’s 30 under 30 leaders in HIV/AIDS and was the winner of the Women’s Media Center 2012 Social Media Award, given to her for using her voice and humor to talk about the lives of women and girls online.

An alum of the University of Illinois, Luvvie has a professional background in Marketing, Communications and New Media. As a digital strategist, she helps individuals and organizations maximize their online presence. Karyn Brianne Watkins

Karyn Watkins is a spirited communications professional with seven years of managing and executing creative ideas for top-tier brands. Karyn is passionate about the use of digital media to influence positive health and social impact. Aside from her work with The Red Pump Project, she blogs at The Fabulous Giver and regularly consults nonprofits on ways to maximize their impact through engaging communication strategies.

Karyn has presented about the impact of social media on public health at various conferences, including the National HIV Prevention Conference and Social Media Week Chicago. Karyn is a proud alum of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
