The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference continues We are powering the social media for the HIV/AIDS panels, and today’s is called: “SisterSpeak: Reducing HIV/AIDS in the Black Community.”

This session consists of two panels: Moving Black Women into HIV/AIDS Mobilization and Positive Families Breaking Silence and Fighting Stigma. The first panel features a lineup of African-American community and health leaders, while the second half panelists will share first-hand what it’s like to live in a positive household.

This week, the Congressional Black Caucus will host its Annual Legislative Conference in Washington D.C. The Red Pump Project will be attending several panels at this year’s conference, and has the honor of providing social media support for the CBCF’s HIV/AIDS panels. Independent Film Series Screening of “The Other City”

“The Other City” is an independent documentary that takes a look at HIV/AIDS in Washington D.C. “The Other City” tells the stories of people who haven’t let lack of government assistance stop them, and have taken matters into their own hands.
